Meep, dreamrunner, I did do this piece. I can get a digicam pic of me with my original sketchwork and inking if you like. I'm not an art thief, I'm just an illustration student. Seriously, it's my work and I admire Jhonen Vasquez a lot, so I worked very hard on this.

As for the sig, that's me being sloppy and writing it with my Wacom. Yeah, I know I'm a mook.

Just because it looks alot like Vasquez's work doesn't automatically make it a rip. My friend drew a pic of GiR and asked Rikki Simons to sign it and his exact words were 'You saw Jhonen today?' And when we all shook our heads no, his wife Tavisha looked around his side and said it looked just like his. These were two people who worked with him on a day to day basis and they were amazed at the quality of her work.


Nice work here on the Zim pic. No one ever draws those little know invaders, let alone MiMi... I think the one thing that bugs me is just that Zim is in such a static pose that I feel like I'v sen so often..grated he does strike it often in the series too... Great work on the cg!

There are too many places that don't have the vasquez detail, and soem fo the shadows dun look perfect, and thats one thing he's a stickler for. I dun think it is a rip. Although I want a larger version =d.

commentors - Jhonen didnt really draw the cartoon; he designed the characters and left the cartoonists to do the work while he did other things with it. forgot who, tho... O.o; and anyway, his limbs are a lot thinner than that, almost as if it were just thick lines. *shot*
